Beauty Steals During Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale

I’ll occasionally post about sales or product promotions on my Facebook page — but after perusing the Early Access Beauty Exclusives available only during Nordstrom’s Anniversary Sale, I just had to share my finds with you. These deals are all better than my professional makeup artist discount… in other words, I cannot personally get these items at these promotional prices as a professional working makeup artist.

One reason I LOVE shopping at Nordstrom is because their client service is amazing and their returns policies, extremely flexible. If you aren’t 100% satisfied with any of your purchases for any reason, Nordstrom will gladly return it for you.

Why Buy Any of These?

These MAC deals are better than MAC professional discounts! I can’t believe that ALL of these ‘Look in a Box’ sets include all FULL-SIZED products and/or brushes. This never happens!

First… MAC’s Fluidline liners are a staple in so many pro kits. You’ll need to invest in a good eyeliner brush (preferably synthetic) but what I love about this formula is that with the right tools, you can make a super thin line right into your lash line or make a thick wing. Heck, if you are really feeling edgy, you can use it as a base for an unforgettable smoky eye. This is a versatile product– which is perfect for an everyday look. The ‘Advanced Eye Kit’ has a pencil brush (so does another brush kit from Trish McEvoy found below).  which would be the perfect application tool.

Ok, this is the only palette where I’m going to keep it really real with you. I do not have enough Charlotte Tilbury knowledge to speak to any of her pigments. My CT Legendary Lashes Mascara review is well, meh (I wouldn’t pay full price for it).
Anyone and everyone I know who uses CT swears by her products. They love the texture, consistency, pigmentation pay-off, application, and pretty much everything about her products. If you want to try CT but don’t want to pay the premium, this is a great way to familiarize yourself with her brand.

Lancôme Mascara Set ($82 Value) $39.50

Lancôme is to mascara what NARS is to blush. I swear, everyone (low-to-high end) tries to copycat Lancôme mascaras because they are consistently some of the best in the industry. I am using Giorgio Armani eyes to kill right now but half way through the bottle, I realized it wears almost exactly like Definicils.
If you don’t want/need mascara, Nordy’s also has a great Lancôme gift with purchase. When Lancôme has a gift with purchase, I always grab a Dual Finish (I’m in color Matte Amande III) – that always qualifies for the gift. Their eye makeup remover is also one of the best in the industry and it lasts forever (at least for me). I’ve mentioned the Dual-Finish powder on this blog several times! Kiehl’s Since 1851 ‘Jumbo Facial Fuel’ Energizing Face Wash for Men

I’m so sad because I would snag this up for my hubby in a heartbeat — but with an international move this Fall, he wouldn’t even make a dent in it! This is by far my hubby’s fave face wash and their small size lasts forever! This industrial size is PERFECT for the men because they don’t have to shop as much. Get it before it sells out!

It’s also a great coolant…you know, for those beach/amusement park days, Disney trips, you name it. With 6 compact cans, you can make sure to leave one in a crucial places.

Ok, these used to be a staple in my college days! They were readily available at Anthropolgie and Urban Outfitters, I had one of these in every purse/backpack/car cup holder within my reach.
I recently picked one up mostly for nostalgia and fondly remembered why I loved them so much! For $11, you can score three of them! Dang! Perfect to put in a bridesmaid gift baggy or gift to whoever wants to feel a little bit of luxury or heck, just put one in your diaper bag, one in the car (be aware, they do melt easily), and one in your purse, for $11, you can’t go wrong.
