As a staunch advocate for shopping small and shopping local, putting together a list of Prime deals may seem a bit off-brand for me. However, it’s important for you to know that I am not anti-Amazon. Amazon has saved me more times than I can count – both as a professional makeup artist as well as personally.
As a matter of fact, majority of my book sales come from Amazon and it’s all thanks to Amazon that my book has reached makeup learners across the globe. (As a self-published author, I cannot compete with Amazon’s printing prices!)
When you shop directly from the vendor on Amazon, then you are still supporting the business.
However, before you go shopping, I urge you to read this post: 6 Questions To Ask Before Buying That Makeup Product.
Bottom line:
Products that you want to stock up on are fine, so long as they are products you use regularly and plan on using up.
Also important to note… I took my personal time to scour every single page of beauty products on sale and find the only ones I trust and am happy to recommend — I’d be grateful for you to click on and shop for your products using my Amazon affiliate links. Every little bit helps!
Loved by professional makeup artists, brides, and everyday skincare aficionados – the LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask is perfect to keep at your bedside.
If you’ve followed me any length of time, you know I’m a big fan of always having a hydrating spray on hand. This is vaporized thermal water, and I normally but these in bulk and keep them in strategic places in my home and gym bag.
Perfect for when you need to touch up your makeup from afternoon to evening… or from the gym back to work.
This is also perfect for hot days when you’ll be outside and need a little ‘cool’ mist.
This is another great mist that I use daily. You might recognize it in my various Instagram reels – it’s step 1 of my skin care/skin prep routine. I still love my Mario Badescu – this is a lot ‘lighter’ than Badescu, but it’s a solid choice at a great price.
While I no longer style hair professionally, this dry shampoo was my #1 go-to. There’s no residue and off-putting fragrance. Win win!
I do love the Beauty Blender and yes, I do believe the Beauty Blender is worth the investment (with proper care). However, if I couldn’t get my hands on a Beauty Blender, this is the next best sponge on the market (in my opinion). If you aren’t super disciplined about cleaning and caring for your beauty sponges or you use lots of different colored cream products, grab the set for a great cost savings.
Living in Germany, I’ve searched high and low for an at-home tanner that is mess and fuss free. Seriously, I love these tanning towelettes! I travel with them and use them whenever I need a little color on my pale legs and upper arms.
You don’t need to spend a fortune on face wash. You just need to make sure that the face ways is formulated for your skin type and recommended by dermatologists and estheticians. Don’t know your skin type, click here to find out >
NYX is one of the brands trusted by so many makeup artists. When we’re in a pinch or need to stock up on something last minute, NYX is one of those go-to brands. I stumbled upon this setting spray before a big shoot where I forgot my other (more expensive) setting spray in my studio. I was extremely happy at how this setting spray applied and held out.
Again, if you’ve followed me anything length of time, you’ve seen me use and demo this mascara regularly. This is also the mascara I keep in my pro kit. This mascara is one of my favorites.
If you like to wear your hair curly, wavy, or if you care for someone else’s hair, this is the perfect brush for post-wash/conditioner comb out. I love Tangle Teezer’s and haven’t figured out how they don’t ‘hurt’. I remember my dad had a brush that was similar, and it hurt SO much.
I love, love, love eyeshadow sticks SO much. They are so versatile. You can get a lighter color to brighten the eye. You can get a fun pop of color to line the eye. You can get a darker color to create an easy smokey eye. I mean, they are SO versatile. This is a great one and a great price.
I used witch hazel as my primary toner for many years, before I switched primarily to toner spray. But there are some days when I feel like I need to run some witch hazel over my face with the sensation of ‘Sea Breeze’ but without the harsh chemicals or alcohol. I think this is a great item to keep in your pro kit, if you’re in the makeup industry. Also, a great relief for hemorrhoids.
Years ago, I did a drugstore bronzer haul where I tested several different drugstore bronzers. This one is the most memorable and has such a beautiful glow and application.
Mally is a great makeup-artist, black-owned, female-owned brand. Her colors are fantastic and super versatile. Whether you get a stick from Julep or Mally (or both), you won’t be disappointed.
Reminder: Don’t Buy Anything You Don’t Need!

Beauty is about perception, not about make-up. I think the beginning of all beauty is knowing and liking oneself. You can't put on make-up, or dress yourself, or do you hair with any sort of fun or joy if you're doing it from a position of correction.
