If you saw my Spring post/video (see here), you might’ve noticed that I wasn’t HUGELY impressed. I wasn’t too fond of the earbuds, although I have used them a few times. I also haven’t used even one of the oil blotting sheets. Paper towels are so much more convenient!

But I did/do love the bracelet, the Jouer eye crayon, and dry shampoo. The La Mer sample, like all samples generally do, ended up in my sample bin. When I’m ready for a beauty regime overhaul, I’m sure that’ll be the first thing I grab (check out my post on getting out of a beauty rut here). This Summer Box of Style though…well, watch the video to see! I’m in love with everything.

My girlfriend Audra was visiting from out of town and we actually filmed this live on my Facebook page…it was so much fun!. I edited out all the “funnies,” added text, and whatnot so my YouTube subscribers wouldn’t think I went totally cray.

I’ve included for you the details included in the little magazine that came in the Box of Style. I love how Rachel Zoe provides a reason why she included each item in the box as well as three styling tips on how to use/wear. She also sends out emails with short video instructions/demos on how to use these products, which sometimes are super helpful. Like this one for the Ouai Wave Spray.

Product Details:

Not In Order from Filming

Hero Item Luv Aj Pavé Tusk Lariat & Open Crescent Ring (Exclusive Set) Retail Value: $190

I have already worn this necklace twice and received compliments! The ring too. Though I don’t normally like to wear too much matchy matchy, this combo works as a set but also as individual pieces. Love that the necklace fastens in the back and that it isn’t a true lariat necklace, since they always get out of place on me.

The Caftan Michael Stars Pastel Gardens Coverup Retail Value: $58

The Do-Not-Disturb Signs YHF Los Angeles Cashton Brown Sunglasses Retail Value: $40

Check out the video both myself and my friend Audra wearing them! They are pretty versatile! I’ve been wearing them and no, they cannot compare to my polarized Ray Ban aviators BUT I can wear them to the pool, running errands with bambino, and throw in my bag and not freak out that they are getting scratched or broken. They are def well-made but not luxury sunnies…so nbd right?

The Beach In A Bottle Ouai Haircare Wave Spray Retail Value: $12

Haven’t tried it yet so I cannot honestly assess how it is. I am however, excited to try it! So…I will let you know!

The Styling Tool The DreamDry Turban Retail Value: $30

I also haven’t tried it yet so I cannot honestly assess how it is. But I have a feeling I’m going to love it! I’ve been on the market for a new hair towel and this meets all my criteria.

The Healthy Glow Juice Beauty Green Apple SPF 15 Brightening Moisturizer Retail Value: $38

I seriously cannot get over how good this smells. Ugh! Like…it has such a nice scent. I wish I could transport scent. It’s also an extremely generous size of facial cream and as you could probably tell in the video, I thought it was more the size of a body moisturizer or something. It’s going to take a long time to use up. Hopefully I love it and it works well with my skin. Should be able to review after a few weeks.

So the total retail value of this Box of Style summed up to $368. When you subtract the cost for the Box of Style $100, you saved a whopping $268! So if you LOVED the products, that’s huge! If you didn’t love the products, well, that’s a huge loss. I personally loved them and will use all of them so it’s a win in my book. If you are interested in trying out the next Box of Style for $90 instead of $100, use my referral link here.

Need Makeup Help?

Beauty is about perception, not about make-up. I think the beginning of all beauty is knowing and liking oneself. You can't put on make-up, or dress yourself, or do you hair with any sort of fun or joy if you're doing it from a position of correction.
