Thanks for tuning into my second beauty product subscription service unboxing (or rather, unbagging)! ipsy is by far one of the most popular beauty product subscription among my amigas. I was a little bummed that ipsy couldn’t send me a bag gratis or at a discount — but it’s probably because they are always SOLD OUT, every month. That’s probably because of their phenom price point at a mere $10 a month 🙂
My lipsticks cost more than that and let me say, I received three, yes THREE full sized products in this bag. These are also brands I am not familiar with, which is great for both the up-and-comers to get their products into the hands of beauty mavens like myself and for myself, so that I can continue to increase my product knowledge for my clients and professional kit. So $10 went a long way…well worth it in my opinion.
My dear friend Alexanna (and occasional guest blogger on my page), gifted me an August ipsy bag. She did have to send me her email/password so I can log in and fill out my beauty profile (which was a bit odd). You’d think that if you gifted someone a service like this, they could create their own account and fill out their own beauty profile. Anyways, that’s just an observation!

Makeup education a great passion of mine. I have personally witnessed how makeup education has positively changed lives time and time again.
Throughout the years, I kept noticing the lack of real-life, practical, and easy to understand makeup education.
After developing PDF guides for my private lesson clients, then workbooks for my makeup workshops, enough people told me I should write a book. So in 2019, personally funded and self-published my first book, Be Your Own Makeup Artist.
