Updated March 14, 2024.  This post was originally published on October 1, 2015. It was part of my Beauty Box Dilemma Blog Series.

Important Update! In February 2023, ipsy and Boxycharm merged under the Boxycharm brand (source). This review is a glimpse of what Boxycharm looked like before the merge and will remain up as historical content.

Boxycharm Unboxing and First Impression

First of all, I want to apologize in the delay in getting this video/blog post up! It’s been a crazy time for myself, our family… I’m sure you can understand. With that being said Boxycharm is awesome! It’s a bit pricier than ipsy, BB5, and Birchbox but at $21/box and five full sized {LUXURY} products, Boxycharm is sure to impress! Let’s just say I was impressed!

I’m sure you know the drill by now! Watch my unboxing video and read below to see what I received in my September Box. This box is valued at $132 — a cost savings of $111! That doesn’t include the precious time I don’t have to shop for these products. Although I haven’t done the official review, let’s just say, I’m obsessed with the tarte smolderEYES (gold).

Need Makeup Help?

Beauty is about perception, not about make-up. I think the beginning of all beauty is knowing and liking oneself. You can't put on make-up, or dress yourself, or do you hair with any sort of fun or joy if you're doing it from a position of correction.
