This post was originally published sometime in late 2015 as part of my Beauty Box Dilemma series.
Update March 14, 2024: I know that Beauty Box 5 (BB5) went out of business a few years after this series but don’t have any information as to why or specifics on when. This was one of the lesser known boxes that I was reviewing at the time and it was one of my favorites.
My 4th unboxing in my “Beauty Box Dilemma” series! Beauty Box 5 (BB5) is a $12/month subscription box which contains 5 samples, although these “samples” are are far larger than I anticipated. What a great box!
O.M.G. Let me just tell you how impressed I am with this box! They say you’ll receive five samples. Um, no. This box included 3 full size products, one deluxe sample, and one sample that will last a long time.
Watch out ipsy! At a $12/month price point (lower for multiple month subscriptions), Beauty Box 5 is sure to compete. I also feel that BB5 puts a higher quality of products in their subscription box — heck, I received a South Korean lip & cheek stain sample!
The Tiffany teal packaging, the informative item list, description, and price point makes for an ideal beauty box subscription.

Beauty is about perception, not about make-up. I think the beginning of all beauty is knowing and liking oneself. You can't put on make-up, or dress yourself, or do you hair with any sort of fun or joy if you're doing it from a position of correction.
